It's A Date!
In order to keep her homosexuality a secret, Lydia, a reserved high school sophomore, tries to dodge a date her friends have arranged with a boy for the school dance.
I collaborated with a team of four screenwriters to create the screenplay for a 12-minute short film, based on an original concept. The project required a thoughtful and nuanced approach to explore the themes and characters, particularly focusing on the challenges of coming out within an adolescent environment.
Carol and the Tower of Babel
Feature Film
Carol, a reserved and solitary student, loses her only true companion, her cat. Heartbroken, she ventures into the afterlife in hopes of bringing him back.
During my studies at CLCF, I worked on a dossier for an original feature film project over the course of a year. I began by developing the pitch, followed by crafting and refining a synopsis. Then, I created an 11-page treatment, parts of which were developed into a screenplay. Finally I put together a presentation document based on these elements.
Sajid, guerrier des rêves
Animated series for children (52x13")
10-year-old Sajid is recruited by his older sister to join the Brigade des Bonnes Nuits, a secret organization that helps children banish nightmares while they sleep. Excited to help others, Sajid eagerly joins, but he soon realizes that the organization has darker hidden intentions…
For our master’s final project, we created the concept of an animated series for children. Based on an original idea, we built a universe with rich and coherent characters, then structured a story around these elements. Our work was finalized with the creation of a pre-bible and visual research for the characters.
